Absolutely loved this place. The room was huge and very well equipped, as well as spotless. We had a nice view of the sea. All the amenities were top notch, especially the outdoor pools and the private beach. A special thumbs up for the dinning area, with a vast choice of dishes and very good quality. They claim they are a farm to table operation as they also own various agricultural assets, farms etc.

We stayed there for Easter and had a great time! The food was very delicious and a lot! There was a big variety of dishes for every taste. Very nice place located in a quiet, serene village. The guest house is very well maintained and nicely decorated, and the rooms are comfortable, quiet and functional. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was impeccable. All support personnel was very attentive, friendly and caring. This property is located a few minutes walk from the sea. There is no beach there but there are rock formations worth seeing and plenty of opportunity to walk along the shores. We did day trips to Balcik, cap Kaliakra, Durankulak, and Ezerets. Highly recommended.

Samara is a new elegant complex in the Mediterranean style, located in a picturesque place with breathtaking views of the Black Sea and the city (town) of Balchik. A fabulous hotel in a superb location with comfortable well equipped rooms, and large lovely bathrooms with a shower cubicle. The swimming pool is large and has nice loungers with big sun umbrellas to shade you. The waterfront is a short walk away down a steep hill, and there is an Aldo Supermarket down there as well as endless restaurants and small shops. The botanical gardens are within walking distance and so are sandy clean beaches. The hotel has a small restaurant, but we did not use it as we preferred others in the town and along the waterfront with more extensive menus. There is parking at the hotel and across the road from it where there is a large open site on the steep hillside. The staff were very helpful and could speak English. The sheets and pillow cases appeared to be excellent quality Egyptian cotton ones, and they were beautifully soft and comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet area away from the crowds.
