I started playing golf at The Dunes in 2007 on my first trip to Australia and have regularly played there on many trips. The stylish rooms offer good space and have modern shower and plumbing fixtures. The nearby clubhouse offers a menu with good breakfast and lunch. Golf tee times can be reserved, unless the stay is booked at times when course is closed to public play, such as when large multiday tournaments are held. I've found it possible on most trips to the area to get tee times at The Dunes. I usually stay at a small cottage nearby but this time it was unavailable part of my stay. I would consider the Links Lodge at The Dunes for another stay on future visits. There are in room safes offer an extra layer of security for those concerned about safeguarding travel documents. The lodging is fairly new and opened in the last few years. It is separated from the main clubhouse by a short distance and each unit has parking which is separate from common parking areas. My room was a two minute walk to the restaurant and clubhouse.

The Westin Melbourne is conveniently located in Melbourne CBD, just 2 minutes' walk from Federation Square, Flinders Street and Bourke Street Mall. Everything was great. good area Excellent access to the sea to the city center. For shopping malls, the only thing that should be mentioned is that the hotel is 7 floors. And the upper floors are residential, and I chose the deluxe room, which has a large balcony in the photo. (Of course, my room had a balcony and was very small). But after arriving at the hotel, I realized that my room is on the 4th floor. Of course, because we had a great time, overall the hotel was excellent

Melbourne for me means music and art. Street artists are everywhere, you just walk in the streets and are surrounded by music.this makes the city alive. Everyone is really friendly, the city is really multicultural. I love all his cafes and restaurants, the parks and the healthy life of the city. There are many activities and fests every month. The victoria market is great during the night market. The only Cons is the weather, really unpredictable.

Melbourne è una città che offre molto sotto diversi punti di vista: storico, culturale, shopping, ristoranti, verde, sport, mare. E' una città in cui non manca nulla: noi siamo stati tre notti e due giorni, forse un pò poco per quanto offre la città e dintorni. Ma d'altra parte sono stato 3 settimane in Australia, un continente più che una nazione dove il tempo è sempre troppo poco per vedere tutto quanto di meraviglioso offre questa terra. Abbiamo visitato la fantastica National Gallery of Victoria dove peraltro c'era anche una bellissima mostra temporanea di Andy Wharol. Bella la visita allo Shrine of Remembrance dove peraltro delle guide locali offrono gratuitamente spiegazioni sulla storia australiana durante le più recenti guerre che li hanno visti coinvolti. Siamo saliti anche sull'Eureka Tower, a 300 mt circa d'altezza, da cui si gode di una splendida vista sulla città. Da non perdere una visita a St. Kilda, pieno di giovani, vita ma dove soprattutto la sera al tramonto arrivano i piccoli pinguini, imperdebili: per chi ha poco tempo penso di poter dire possa "rinunciare" alla visita a Philipp Island in cambio di questo spettacolo in città! Altra tappa memorabile: una visita a Brighton Beach, facilmente raggiungibile in metro in mezz'oretta, dove sulla spiaggia potrete vedere le famose casette colorate che sicuramente avrete visto in qualche foto.. Altri Must: Queen Victoria Market, la State Library of Victoria e una birra nella splendida Federation Square. Che dire, Melbourne assolutamente da vedere. Buon divertimento.
Molto caratteristici il centro per i grandi negozi, la zona del mercato (Queen Victoria Market), la ruota (Souther Star) e lo stadio (Cricket ground)
Melbourne non è Sydney!!! Avrebbe molte cose da vedere, come parchi e musei interessanti, ma non ha un granché di clima. È ventosa e molto piovosa. Consiglio in una giornata di pioggia di andare a vedere il National Museum of Victoria, molto interessante e molto grande. Inoltre, ha delle idee molto originali per passare il tempo!!!! Mi è piaciuta moltissimo la mostra temporanea di William Strutt!!!! Una vera scoperrata!!! Melbourne ha musei più belli di Sydney.
Città ben oltre le mie aspettative. Stile architettonico europeo ma città di animo asiatico. Camminando per il centro sembra di attraversare il continente asiatico... Parchi stupendi. I Riyal garden meritano almeno una passeggiata. Philip Island (fuori città) da vedere per la fauna (pinguini e koala). Da non perdere nel cuire della cittàil mercato di Queen Victoria, davvero immensi. Per finire, la sera una passeggiata, una cena o semplicemente una birra a Southgate, lungo la sponda. Tantissimi locali, ristoranti, bar e tanta gente... Da non perdere assolutamente!
In Melbourne it's possible breathing a cosmopolitan, multicultural with a tic of underground atmosphere. Don't believe to the people who stand eather for Sydney or for Melbourne, they don't understand we are talking about two differents point of view and beauties. Melbourne is rich of details noir, with its street arts, museums and cafes. Come and have a cup of a delicious "latte" which of the locals are so proud of. Take a walk in every little lanes, who knows what you can find! I strongly suggest to visit Federation Square, where you can find the National Gallery of Victoria, AMCI, St. Paul Cathedral and the historical Flinders Station. So magnificent, as well as, the Parliament House, with free tour every day, the State Library of Victoria and the colourful Victoria Market. Don't miss the Royal Botanic Garden and the Shrine of Remembrance, where from the top it's possible take a great look at the skyline of the city. Move a little further away from the CBD and get St. Kilda, where after the sunset you can meet the penguins in their sanctuary, at the end of the long jetty. About the "movida", wow so many pubs and clubs, for every taste. From the most famous like The Cherry Bar in Ac/Dc Lane or the Lui Bar, to the little locals around the north east and south west suburbs. Spend 10 days and, without a particular rush, you'll be able to see a lot and have great time!
In soli 4 giorni non abbiamo potuto vedere tanto, ma il museo national gallery victoria merita di essere visitato, un giro lungo il grande fiume Yarra e un giro al mercato Victoria Melbourne non sono da perdere. È una città molto ordinata, nonostante la grandezza della popolazione.
Perhaps the most interesting city in Victoria. Full of activities and events to watch from Formula One to the motogp, from tennis to the nearby beaches for the world serf championships. A tour of the botanical gardens is inevitable. Car traffic is increasing
La possibilità di fare early check in, avere in camera il microonde ed il frigorifero e stoviglie ( no pentole) ci ha permesso di poter preparare la colazione in camera ( l'hotel lascia a disposizione the, caffè'') e anche di prepararci frutta e altro comprato al mercato Victoria. Il letto è comodissimo.

La posizione è perfetto, a pochi minuti di tram da Melbourne Central e a pochi isolati dal Victorian market. La lounge è fantastica col biliardo e tanto altro. Camere spaziose . Dispenser di acqua bollente per te e acqua della pasta. Personale presente in ricevimento fino a tarda sera.
Hotel collegato molto bene con il centro, a due passi dal Queen Victoria Market e vicino a Southern Cross Station (utile per l'aeroporto). Personale gentile, ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

We arrived to one of the most kindest and accomodating receptionist I’ve ever met. Then onto The room was unbelievably clean. The park was beautiful and has a really cool little coffee van and set up in the centre, never seen one that nice. Overall had a great feel will 100% come back and also recommend to others.
The room was spacious, quiet, and beautifully decorated. It was also exceptionally clean, with a stunning view. We had a very pleasant stay here.
