The lodging is located on the Mornington Peninsula, where several high quality public golf courses are located. I started playing golf at The Dunes in 2007 on my first trip to Australia and have regularly played there on many trips. The stylish rooms offer good space and have modern shower and plumbing fixtures. The nearby clubhouse offers a menu with good breakfast and lunch. Golf tee times can be reserved, unless the stay is booked at times when course is closed to public play, such as when large multiday tournaments are held. I've found it possible on most trips to the area to get tee times at The Dunes. I usually stay at a small cottage nearby but this time it was unavailable part of my stay. I would consider the Links Lodge at The Dunes for another stay on future visits. There are in room safes offer an extra layer of security for those concerned about safeguarding travel documents. The lodging is fairly new and opened in the last few years. It is separated from the main clubhouse by a short distance and each unit has parking which is separate from common parking areas. My room was a two minute walk to the restaurant and clubhouse.

Brooklands of Mornington is brilliantly located and set amongst 3 acres of beautiful gardens. Guests enjoy free WiFi and free in-house movies. The room was larger than expected, well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable.

Mornington Hotel, formerly Mornington on Tanti, is a 4-star hotel on the Mornington Peninsula. It offers luxurious suites and quality dining options. Friendly staff and nice room and bathroom

The view was excellent, and overall good value for money.

Set on the clifftops with magic views of Port Phillip Bay and a two-minute stroll from the vibrant Sorrento township, Hotel Sorrento is the ideal way to experience the Mornington Peninsula. This is probably the nicest hotel i've ever stayed at! The room (classic room sea view), was INCREDIBLE! The view was amazing, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, as well as the dinner in the restaurant. The bar is lovely! The staff were very friendly and helpful and were always happy to help. The location is also incredible. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING.
