Hotel Post Wrann is a traditional hotel with over 200 years of history right in the centre of Velden, only a few steps from the casino and Lake Wörthersee. Free WiFi is provided throughout the hotel. The hotel is excellent, beautifully furnished, exceptionally large rooms with a spacious bathroom and lovely balcony right in the heart of Velden. The spa is very nice and the breakfast was tasty with a wide range of options available. The restaurant is very good and we ate lunch and dinner there also and it was very good. We also took advantage of the free bicycle option and cycled all the way around Lake Worthersee, a very nice trip. Expensive but standard for the location. We didn't use the lake access but were given passes if we had wanted to do so.

Situated in Pörtschach am Wörthersee, 5.8 km from Hornstein Castle, Villa Christina features accommodation with free bikes, private parking, a garden and a private beach area. We wanted quiet place to stay on our journey to Italy with comfort beds and we were stunned. All pictures cant describe an actual feeling. Entire Villa is right on the beach with nice green grass with sunbeds touching lake Wortherzee. Room was superclean, with luxury beds and nice lake view. Breakfast was tasty with mix of various types of sweets and classic food like scrambled eggs or ham. Staff was friendly and even called us in advance for a key for our room as we were checking-in at late ours.

Offering a private beach, Seehotel Astoria in Pörtschach is located right on the shore of Lake. This was a great Hotel. The sundeck was right off the water and provided great access to the lake. The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast on their wonderful outdoor patio. EBikes were available at the property and advice on where to cycle was available from the staff.
