Tha Gasthof was lovely. Location perfect for hikes into the Wilder Kaiser, also the free local bus stopped right outside the front. Our room was incredibly clean and the bed very comfortable. Nestled amid the unique natural landscape around Ellmau, Hotel Der Bär offers an all year round heated indoor and outdoor infinity pool with panoramic view, a sauna and steam bath, fitness area and... This was one of the best hotels we stayed on our trip and the staff were exceptional. The bar and waiting staff were all professional, friendly and helpful. The facilities were exceptional especially the outdoor pool in the winter. Skiing was fabulous and we had unlimited activities to enjoy during the day too if you needed a day off skiing. The room was very comfortable and complements to the hotel cleaning staff who always had our room spotless. The food every day was excellent and always a good choice on the menu.
