Erika provided every comfort, even when a thunderstorm brought down the power lines and cut off all electricity for a day. Superb breakfast, always with a special local food treat and wonderful cake and home made preserves. Great hiking. A restaurant, mini-market and bus stop are close by.

Great hotel. However, we booked hoping for childcare since it said it was included, but unfortunately, it wasn't. Dinner also took a night to get used to. It's a 5-course meal every night.

And most importantly the staff they are beyond any regular host. I stayed as i was participating in a race and i needed a ride after i missed the bus. One of the staff members gave me the ride. The location is magnificent! Beautiful view and nice place for hiking. The hotel is modern and clean. Rooms are equipped with everything a person would need. SPA included many types of saunas. Great way to relax after hiking. I tried Asia Bath packet. It was nice experience. Each day there were new menu for dinner. Food were delicious. I was able to try lots of traditional dishes as well. Special thanks to hotel stuff. Everyone is very attentive, polite, helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this resort to everyone. There you can have both relaxing and active holidays:)

Located directly opposite the Rifflsee cable car, Hotel Mittagskogel Pitztal is only 1 minute from the Pitztal Glacier. Each room has a large balcony with panoramic mountain views. Perfect location for us with children and beginners as well as experienced skiers; right opposite the main gondola and next to the nursery slope. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating, they really surprised us with the food quality from traditional to gourmet and lots of choice for the children. Great facilities and pool to relax after skiing and everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Nice to be on the doorstep of a bit of apres ski too but thankfully not too wild!
