It's not often you get to stay in a one-month old hotel, but this one is brand new (late September-early October 2022). It is hidden away on a side street in a small forgettable village, which keeps it quiet at night. It's all new and absolutely spotless, and includes a nice spa and wonderful sauna and two hot tubs on the ground floor, and access across a lawn to a 7-pool swimming and hot spring water resort (which is not new and is shared with an adjacent camp ground). Rates include dinner, and the wine list is quite reasonable and includes some wines made in the same and in the next village. Both dinner and buffet breakfast were good if not quite gourmet. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, all bilingual in Hungarian and German. (Don't know about English because I speak both Hungarian and German, never tried English).

Excellent location, family ambient, very clean rooms. The hotel has few own parking spots but the parking around the hotel on the streets is posible free of charge. The staff was very friendly and hepful from the arrival to the check-out. We left the hotel feeling like we were visiting family. ❤️ The breakfast selection was very good, tasty and served to the table in the cosy ambient of the rose garden. The food choice was very diversified, with fresh vegetables and fruits and in the right amount.

The accommodation was fantastic! The interior was clean, modern, and cozy. We were delighted that they had prepared a dog bed for our furry friend – a thoughtful touch that any pet owner would appreciate. The key collection process was hassle-free and super easy thanks to the lockbox, so there was no need to coordinate timing. The location by Lake Neusiedl in Austria was also perfect. Late October is ideal for those who want to enjoy nature without the crowds and don’t mind that it's a bit too chilly for swimming.
Our stay at Hotel Tornacos at Hegyko was excellent. It has a small spa part, and even if we been in main season, was very relaxing. We choose yo have the breakfast and dinner including in the room price and those set menus were really feeling and delicious. Comfy bed and room which was nice amd tidy. The next day my wife had a meeting and they let her use their meeting room, which was highly appreciated, my wife had a great realaxing massage too. Thank you very much it was amazing stay, definitely will come back. Great surrounding area, Fertod with the Eszterhazy Castle is a must to see and very close, about less than 10mins drive

What an exceptional short-term stay - the room was beyond beautiful, stunning ambiance, loved the natural pool, the breakfast was outstanding, the dinner at the main restaurant exceeded every expectation, and the Greisslerei had a gorgeous and well executed menu. There was no imaginable wish that the team of Barbara and Alain didn't fulfill - most of them even without having to ask. We will certainly be back often and can already now not await the next stay. Thank you to everyone for turning our wedding anniversary trip into the most cherished memory.

We have been staying here for about 6 years now every year for a couple days. Always nice and a pleasure to stay here, comfortable, nice staff, great breakfast and very clean rooms.
