The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is close to Vandans ski lift with a hotel shuttle bus if you don't feel like walking. Superb food in the restaurant.

The setting is extremely beautiful, with many hiking trails and even a cable car just minutes away for easy access to the mountain summit. I specifically came to the Montafon valley for hiking and was blown away by all the trails just steps away from the hotel. The hotel has incredible charm. The owners - Daniella and Marcus - were so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was varied, fresh, and delicious. I also opted to have dinner at the hotel every night because the food was so good. The portions were hearty and the meals were so tasty. I am already planning another trip to the Montafon valley and will definitely be staying at the Hotel Montabella.
