Set in Russbach am Pass Gschütt, 49 km from Eisriesenwelt Werfen, Hotel Landhaus Ausswinkl offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. I have no idea where this it. So apparently worked out fine. Five stars. It’s only the bad experiences I remember.

In a scenic location in the Gosau Valley, at the foot of the Dachstein Mountain and 5 km from Lake Gosau, Hotel Sommerhof is a family-run 4-star hotel with a restaurant, spa area, and free WiFi... The wonderful view from our terrace, the huge room with a separate sleeping area for the children. The staff were very helpful in telling us where we could find where to buy swimwear.

Located in the centre of Russbach, Hotel Kerschbaumer is just 400 metres from the cable car into the Dachstein-West Ski Area. It features a sauna and a fossil exhibition. Spacious and comfortable room, great spa area (that is free to use!), lovely staff, superb atmosphere inside and outside of the hotel and for a very good price! You can't go wrong with this choice!

Set in Annaberg im Lammertal, 40 km from Eisriesenwelt Werfen, Winterstellgut offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Breakfast was excellent, property and sorrounding was very clean and well-kept.

Surrounded by a 20,000 m² garden, this elegant Art Nouveau villa dating from 1850 offers panoramic views of the Gosau Valley and the Salzkammergut Mountains. Free WiFi is available. Absolutely fantastic place, one of a kind !

Set in Annaberg im Lammertal, 35 km from Eisriesenwelt Werfen, Alpenhof Annaberg offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Spacious and nice renovated rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. And good hiking opportunities in the area.

Situated in the green surroundings, Hotel - Restaurant Gosauerhof is right next to a ski bus stop and 800 metres from the Dachstein West Ski Resort. It features a restaurant with a bar and a terrace. Wonderful hotel with a breathtaking view of the Alps, from the room and during breakfast. The restaurant's food is also very good and the people who work there are very kind, especially Brigitte with whom I had the most contact and got several tips about Gosau and the neighboring cities. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back :)

This large hotel is located on the edge of Gosau village, within the Dachstein West ski region. All spacious rooms have a balcony, overlooking the surrounding mountains. It was a very nice place. Everything was great. Food was great and delicious. Rooms were clean. Very friendly staff.

Set in Annaberg im Lammertal, 39 km from Eisriesenwelt Werfen, Salzburger Dolomitenhof offers accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The staff are so lovely. We stayed for a couple of days and enjoyed every moment. It’s set in such a beautiful, serene area. The breakfast was great too! Manu people were on about how they think the style is outdated however we found it homely and warm. The beds were incredibly comfortable.
