The location is superb,right in the center near shops, park, restaurants. Its a very nice flat, high quality of everything in it (very classy) and big size, plus a huge balcony at the top. The breakfast was very good and tasty. Octavio, the host is approachable and communicates very well, plus, he gives recommendations and answers all questions. We really enjoyed our stay here, highly recommended.

The lady at the reception was very nice! Location is excellent, you can walk everywhere. There is a cerveceria about 4 blocks away behind a gasstation, live music and great food. It totally gives you the small town vibe:-). The room is a good size, did not expect a red interior as all in blue and green on the outside. Colourful sheets, a corner with microwave, kettle and fridge.

Fantastic location, the only hotel so close to three spectacular national/provincial parks. A very professional guide, Laura, offers guided 2,5 h walks to the nearby El Chiflon park from the hotel, ask the reception. Restaurant available on the spot with good food and wide selection. Most generous breakfast we had during our trip. Very professional service, they will help you with whatever you need, always with a smile. Very flexible. Offers big parking with shade.

Set in Villa Unión, HOTEL FINCA AMANCAY offers free WiFi throughout the property. The property has a garden, as well as a restaurant that serves Argentinian cuisine. The place was not comfortable at all. No hot water in the morning. Very humid and very cold.

Boasting a garden and free WiFi, Posada El Paiman is situated in Chilecito. The hotel has family rooms. All rooms in the hotel are fitted with a flat-screen TV. Rocky was very kind in welcoming me and since I was leaving early in the morning on a bus, he prepared breakfast for me the night before and had it waiting. The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom was large and clean, the shower was hot and had good pressure. The location is quiet and near a park, only 5 minutes walk to the bus station and 20 minutes to the centro.

Set in Famatina, Finca Huayrapuca has a garden, shared lounge and free WiFi. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, a 24-hour front desk and organising tours for guests. Terrible place. Totally unsuitable for Winter. Cold as a freezer, we didn’t have any water in the morning!!, the place is remote, abandoned, the owner doesn’t live there. No services around. The owner’s response to our problems was as arrogant as his pricing for this dump. He claimed that the water cut-off was due to extraordinary conditions, but the weather was just the common -3 for the season. He doesn’t live there, so he doesn’t know. Worst night of our three-week trip in Argentina. Stay away from this place!! Amigos: Alejate de este lugar!!
