I arrived quite late because I had had a car accident that afternoon and also because when I reached Gjirokaster, it was dark and I was unable to locate the place. However, I called Maradona and he was quick to assist. In view that it was late when I arrived, I had dinner at the hotel, which was delicious and great value for the price paid.

There was a shop in the same building, which was very convenient. The owner was so friendly and he let us stay until 11 am even though the check out time is at 10 am.

We are at their restaurant for dinners and the food was some of the best we’ve had in Albania, loved this veggie platter. We had many bottles of their homemade white wine. the breakfast was one of our favorites while on our 6 week trip. We were so glad we stayed here outside of the city, it was very calm and centering.
