White’s landing is a great location for a family or couple to spend a weekend. The tents were nice with very comfortable beds. Great fishing and snorkeling right from shore and plenty of activities to do on land playing lawn games and bonfires every night.

Originally opened in 1896 and located in Avalon town centre, this diver-friendly hotel offers bicycles for hire and a tour desk. Avalon’s boat landing is 10 minutes’ walk away. We liked the vibe of the hotel. It was not luxurious at all but we were not looking for it. Clean place - that was the main focus. Closeness to the race start for us was also the one of the most important factors. Some great places to eat were very close, like 50 steps away, including coffee and breakfast. Would stay there again.
