The property is enormous. The rooms and balcony are very spacious. Both the rooms have working A/C. Hot water system available 24 hrs. The access to the property is separate. The property was spotlessly clean and insect-free. There is a lot of legroom. The hosts were friendly, helped us book early morning auto rickshaws, and were knowledgeable about our general inquiries. We took our elderly mum with us, who needed special help occasionally, and they were very forthcoming and helpful. Thanks, Dimpy for being such a wonderful host.

Furniture is antique and design is Portuguese. Yellow walls, red floor. Hosts are warm. Home cooked vegan meal. Unbelievable. In the middle of nowhere. It is a heritage property. My dog Luna loved it. Caretaker Rupesh was sweet. Mind blowing. Ideal for Outstation traveller. Doesn’t feel like Bihar for a change.Awesome balcony, farm fresh veggies. If only alcohol was allowed in BIhar. 10/10 without any second thoughts. I am definitely coming back here soon.

Tara Guest House is located just 1 km from the famous Mahabodhi Temple. Free WiFi access is available. It operates a 24-hour front desk to assist guests at all hours. We had an amazing stay here, the staff was very friendly and the project that they are supporting with over 700 students to change their local community is inspiring. We left inspired by the children who have been given an opportunity due to the amazing work of the staff here. It was very nice to see and speak with the children during our stay. Two big thumbs up. Additionally, the took great care of us to help organize tours, help us send a package with the India Post, and organize other sightseeing during our stay. We will stay there again and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a local authentic experience with people making a true change in their community.

The location is perfect and just behind the KalaChakra Ground. The hotel is crystal clean with bed comfortable beds and a balcony. The owner has been very kind and helpful in arranging a car from and to Gaya despite the unfortunate timing and delays we faced during our trip. Taxi driver young Ranjit is an exquisite caring person also. I would highly recommend this place!
