The location is fabulous. We fortunately had a unit very close to the water, so access was super easy. The staff were very efficient, explaining the operating hours of all the different restaurants and services. At one point, there was a street sweeper that came through, which shows the incredible attention to the cleanliness of the facility. The beach bar has a beautiful seating area, which was wonderful for enjoying the evening. Our unit was 2 bedrooms (albeit small rooms) and 2 bathrooms and was impeccably clean. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

Completely renovated in 2018 and enjoying a prime location in the centre of Opatija, Heritage Hotel Imperial - Liburnia is just steps away from Slatina beach. Room was comfortable and clean. Stuff was very friendly and professional. And food was amazing. Great stay!
