Lunch was also spectacular. The view from the room was fantastic. The balconies allow for fresh air while the triple windows kept all noise from the strip out while allowing all the sunshine in. It is constant entertainment watching the ships all day and the people cruising all night. The bed was super comfortable, the staff exceedingly nice and the location superb. I highly recommend On Residence.

It's been a while since I felt this relaxed in a hotel. I didn't have luck with hotels in Thessaloniki, to be honest. Either in terms of the price, location, or staff. Until now! First and foremost the people. They are sincerely polite and happy to see you. It's not that "professional ballroom dancer" rehearsed smile you can see in other places. They are really there to help you and make you feel welcome. So, whoever picked up this crew to run a hotel deserves a medal. Anyway, the room is very spacious. No bumping into each other. Very well decorated too. Has everything you need, including a "Marshall" Bluetooth speaker, to put some music on your own. The location is excellent. Right next to everything. Across the street, you have two of the very highly rated restaurants which I definitely recommend (I've checked out the one at the corner, and it left an everlasting impression on me). It's worth mentioning, like it usually happens in this part of the World, when you start building something there is a good chance you will run into an archeological site. When this happens, usually the investor loses his hair immediately, cause it slows down the project by years, but the Architect did an incredible thing here. The flooring of the dining room is made of glass, so while you are having breakfast you can look at the piece of Antique Greece right below you. And if you are from the States, that is, well, older than anything :) Ah, yeah. The food was great. No worries!

The breakfast was delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel facilities are really nice, and I liked that they received you with a lemonade.

In the heart of Thessaloniki, The Modernist Thessaloniki combines old-world grace with casual luxury, set in a striking 1920’s heritage building. What a lovely place to stay! We loved our time at The Modernist. For us, the best part was the staff. They were so friendly and kind, and helped us out with everything from calling restaurants to recommending a great place to get bougatsa. You felt like you were coming home every time you walked in the door. The room was lovely, the shower was divine, and the breakfast was wonderful. A perfect stay!

Great hotel, the stuff was very polite and willing to fulfill our requests, amazing breakfast. We made reservation with breakfast but for some reason, it wasn’t written on the booking form. The hotel receptionist immediately solved the problem by offering us breakfast. Huge advantage the parking space in the hotel, which is in the center of Thessaloniki. We loved that our room was very clean and soundproof.

Everything was extraordinary, the place is so pretty and location is great - you are at the main street, like 3 min walk from the sea, but isolation is so good that you don’t have feeling that you are right in the center of the city.
