Katerina, with her constantly happy and pleasant demeanor and overwhelming attention to detail, was solely instrumental in making our stay perfect and eager to come back....or at least be an ambassador for others to have their expectations exceeded.

We stayed for 2 nights, and we just really needed a place to shower and sleep at night, as we were out at beaches all day, and this was perfect. Had air conditioning, private car park, and he even gave us a bottle of wine upon arrival. Really recommend!

Situated in Vathi, Ithaka, 1.3 km from Loutsa Beach and 1.6 km from Minimata Beach, Villa Marika offers free bikes and air conditioning. We had an amazing stay at Villa Marika, slight hiccup on arrival which was dealt with beautifully, the property is large, comfortable, ideally located for staying in Vathy. There is a communal BBQ area that we hadn't realised when we booked but you have enough private space for this not to be a problem. I slept like a log here, the beds were fab, a real home from home and we loved seeing the owner for a little chat. It is an authentically Greek place so perhaps the bathrooms feel a little dated but they do exactly what they need to do. Aircon worked well, kitchen was nicely full of every utensil condiment that you need & always a bonus to have a coffee machine. Parking underneath if needed. Honestly a great place to stay for 2 couples. Loved the peace of the sunrises.
