Set in Sheffield and only 8.2 km from Utilita Arena Sheffield, Coniston Guest House offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. This family run guest house helped us feel at home when we most needed to feel comfortable. No one likes getting sick while on vacation, but our son managed to catch a very bad bug and needed medical attention. That's when Deborah, the host, helped us. She gave us information about British system, and was flexible about some of the breakfast issues (son wouldn't eat, etc). She's very gracious! As for the property, our room was spacious, with two sitting chairs overlooking the streets below. Our room (a triple) had a fridge ) Because we had to stay in, it turned out to be a great place to relax while my son slept (unlike some cramped rooms). If weather is nasty, I can imagine people wanted to stay in, have tea, and read. Overall, it's great to see that local, family guest houses still exist. And ones like this one, managed by Deborah, are a wonderful place to stay.

Lyndene is located in Penistone, 25 km from Utilita Arena Sheffield, 33 km from Victoria Theatre, and 35 km from Cusworth Hall. Paul and Sophie are the best hosts you can wish for. They are very friendly, helpful and interested. They suggested some nice hikes and walks in the area and offered all kinds of help.

Boasting a hot tub, Cabin in beautiful countryside with private lake is set in Doncaster. With free private parking, the property is 14 km from Cusworth Hall and 17 km from Eco-Power Stadium. Just returned from the most perfect weekend get away. The lodge is perfection! We arrived late to a warm, welcoming environment with the hot tub ready for use and a lovely welcome pack. Communicate prior to our arrival was excellent. The location is very private and picturesque (we enjoying watching the goats) and not too far from Askern if we needed anything. The dog loved the adventure and my partner was able to fish his heart out whilst I enjoyed the hot tub! The lodge was clean and well equipped. The bedding was heated and very comfortable. We hope to return

Comfortable, clean and unbelievable value for money. The place is amazing. Wet room, decent sized bedroom, lovely lounge and loads of ways to stay warm with a lovely faux log fire in the lounge. Lovely host too who despite about to go out, sorted out a missing bulb in one of the lamps! I've booked to stay there again so proof that I love it!!

Set in Silkstone, The Stables, Modern 2 bed, 4 person, Rural Barn Conversion with Great Access is a recently renovated accommodation, 23 km from Utilita Arena Sheffield and 28 km from Cusworth Hall. The facility was gorgeous. Lovely renovation. Setting was beautiful. The town nearby offered nice options for dining. We tried Spencer Arms and The Bells. Unlike some other homes we’ve stayed at, we were not charged outrageous cleaning fees or expected to become domestic help our last day. My husband stated after our first night he would like to return
