The Lighthouse is a beautiful listed property offering 4-star accommodation near Frome, within the gently rolling Somerset countryside. The rooms were really nice and freshlooking. Breakfast was nice and view around the house even nicer

The George Inn is a 14th century inn and Plaine is a 16th century building located immediately opposite The George, situated in Norton Saint Philip. What can I say. The property is sensationel, the food excellent - the beer as well and the staff are simply incredible, helpful, very friendly and competent without exception. I can‘t remember any experience like that and I do travel a lot. You simply feel at home there. Any time again. If it were possible I would allocate 10 points. Thanks

The Bower Inn is a lovely friendly well located pub. The facilities are excellent and the staff are all very friendly and so helpful. They can’t do enough for you. Plus they love our dog - Dudley.

Situated just 37 km from Golden Cap, Madresfield features accommodation in South Petherton with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as luggage storage space. There was a very good breakfast with plenty of options, including cereal, granola, porridge, bread/toast, butter, jam and marmalade, croissants, fruit and yoghurt, fruit juice, tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

A super last minute booking (literally hours) after looking through a few options in the area this ticked all the boxes. Host was brilliant and we arrived very late evening to a very welcoming twinkly Christmas tree and everything we could need to make a hot drink and unwind. The apartment blew us away, it is truly beautiful and had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. We all slept really well and found the evening to be quiet and peaceful.
