An extremely charming chalet with a close focus on being eco conscious (e.g. can't use own cleaning products due to it being a nature reserve, reusable paper towels,etc). The rocking chair as the main place to sit was a bit uncomfortable.

We had a pleasant and comfortable one-night stay in this clean, modern, well-equipped, and nicely furnished apartment. The swimming pool was a bonus after a long drive, and the quietness of the place was also appreciated. We left early in the morning, so we didn't have breakfast, but the hosts offered to bring us some for the cost of €8 per person at the time of this review. The hosts were kind and friendly. We will definitely consider this place again.

The apartment is very nicely, generously and of high quality standards equipped with all the usual things you might need during your stay. In case of bad weather (we never had during last week August 2022) you have the choice of two huge TV-Screens in the living room and master sleeping room respectively, or a normal one in the kitchen for entertainment during your cooking. Especially, in the spacious kitchen all the normal kitchenware and much more are new and presented in a very attentive way. The newly renovated and decoratively furnished rooms come with more than sufficient space. We very much enjoyed the balcony on the back side, with an open view to the greens of the surrounding hilly gardens, entertaining goats restlessly climbing up and down the terrace walls, and the view to the city of Lons-les-saunier to the left and Jura hills with the medieval town house facades of Montaigu to the right. The landlord family living next door was discreet during our stay, as the apartment designation "L'INATTENDU" makes you expect. But, they did not forget to welcome us with a big piece of Jura Comté cheese supplied in the fridge.
