Beautiful elegant hotel well situated. Grand old hotel with all modern conveniences. Beautiful lobby and service was great except problems with repeated demagnetized key cards. Modern and well appointed rooms with large bathroom with separate tub and shower. Bed was comfortable. Nice little touches with complementary nuts, muffin and chocolates. Breakfast was fantastic with everything available. Elegant bar and dining room for breakfast. Nice patio outside to overlook Lake Lucerne. Overall little to complain about and much to laud. A true 5 star hotel.

Boasting river views, Jurte hoch über dem See offers accommodation with a balcony and a coffee machine, around 3.6 km from Seilbahn Twärrüti-Buggialp. The yurt was amazing. Clean, comfortable and warm, even though it was less than 5 degrees Celsius outside (mix of wooden stove and electric heater). The view was breathtaking and the only sounds are the nearby river, the birds and the bells from sheep. The hosts were simply amazing and Ploy's Thai food is a must-get. Extra surprise: their playful dog, Luna :) Thank you so much Franz and Ploy for your hospitality! We will definitely come back again!

This mountain accommodation is set in a car-free zone at an altitude of 1,450 metres above Altdorf and Flüelen. Berggasthaus Eggberge can only be reached by cable car. I absolutely loved my overnight stay at Berggasthaus Eggberge. From the moment you step into the cable car up the moment, you’re literally being transported to a more serene, more peaceful and beautiful version of the world. The views are simply stunning, the staff and owners incredibly friendly. I also highly recommend Andy’s Brew, the owners very own beer. It’s delicious:) Wish I’d stayed a few more days to explore the beautiful surroundings.

In Lucerne, 4.6 km from the KKL Culture and Congress Center Lucerne, the Gasthaus Badhof offers you very spacious rooms with the best comfort. It was the most beautiful place I've ever stayed, amazing view, spacious room for the 4 of us, comfort bed, nice bathroom design, we had a nice walk in the morning, fresh air. Definitely we will get back here!
