Located in Vers L'Eglise, 35 km from Train station Montreux, L'Auberge de L'Ours provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We had a large room (small dormitory) that could accommodate 7 people. Our girls slept upstairs which was nice for everybody. Very nice breakfast with fresh croissants, pains au chocolat, bread and tresses. The owners and personnel at the restaurant were all very nice and welcoming. The B&B was fairly close to les Diablerets but afforded a very quiet environment at night since it's a bit secluded compared to the village. Having a restaurant on site was convenient and the food and cocktails were excellent. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Set in Les Diablerets, within 37 km of Musée National Suisse de l'audiovisuel, Chambre d'hôtes L'ours Bleu is an accommodation offering quiet street views. So this review propably will sound like one of those fake-reviews. In terms that everything was more than perfect. We traveled with our small dog by car and stayed here for 2 nights in summer. Stupid us: should have been at least four. The motto of Philippe and Arlette says it all: we think Switserland should be more welcoming to our guests, that's why we want to do everything we can. Anyway, this is what we liked about staying here: - The welcome: a drink with extensive info about the region. Followed by the best home made cheese fondue by Philippe (Freiburger-style :) ). Yes you have to pay for the dinner, but it's fantastic value for money looking at the nearby restaurants and the stunning view from the balcony. The cheese fondue was one of the best we ever had. - Our dog was much loved by both Philippe and Arlette. He felt home allright. - The breakfast. Holy moly. home cooked, too much fantastic local stuff. And again: the view. - The room. Clean, quiet, relaxed. Everything you want for chilling out. There are probably more things we can say, but this couple truly knows how to spoil you. We were more than happy we could be their guests. Merci Philippe and Arlette!

The staff were extremely proffesional and kind, the rooms were spacious, well equipped and super modern.

Located in Gingins, 25 km from PalExpo, Auberge La Croix-Blanche provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. I felt like being welcomed by a family or a group of friends. Everyone in the hotel and restaurant seemed to have a good time and being genuinely glad to see us. Hotel is very clean and restaurant food is great.
