Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The view, the location, the facility and most importantly, the staff team that made us feel so warm.

Modern and well appointed rooms with large bathroom with separate tub and shower. Bed was comfortable. Nice little touches with complementary nuts, muffin and chocolates. Breakfast was fantastic with everything available. Elegant bar and dining room for breakfast. Nice patio outside to overlook Lake Lucerne. Overall little to complain about and much to laud. A true 5 star hotel.

Request Type : Property Description Nowhere do the stars shine more intensely and the sunrises are more spectacular than on Pilatus Kulm. So close to Lucerne and yet in a completely different world. Spectacular stay - one of the most magical places I've ever stayed overnight. During my visit, we awoke above the clouds to watch the sunrise, and the experience is simply stunning. The room was perfect - comfortable, clean and more tastefully decorated than other mountaintop hotels I visited in Switzerland. Since all food has to be shipped up to the hotel, the quality of dinner far exceeded my expectations and the dining room is beautiful and classic. Staff agreed to an early check-out to allow me to descend on the first funicular run, which I appreciated.
