Set right at the shore of Lake Constance, this maritime-style 4-star hotel in Horn dates from 1827. The location was wonderful, there are no beaches, but you can get in the water through docks with stairs. The lake is so clear! Unfortunately, we were in one of the few rooms with no balcony and no view. There was construction going on a property a few houses away so this woke us up if we had the window open. There are lots of jogging/walking trails and places to chill by the water. It's worth the expense for a special occasion as a middle-class person, it is on the very expensive side. For the two nights, we stayed there, we did feel like royalty.

The location is perfect for visiting the Ebenalp area, which is not to be missed. Free parking.
