Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg, a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle, Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses, and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away. The accommodation was fascinating. Room was clean and cozy. The nature around was charming. You can buy bottle of water, some sweets in the bar. You leave some money for this. We stayed for 1 nights but if I could I would like to stay longer. There are beautiful trail to castles around the lake.

The Alpine-style rooms all feature a balcony, satellite TV, a seating area, and a bathroom. Everything was excellent!!! Service, food, facilities. For us Coffee lovers, the Nespresso machine in the room was a nice touch. Will definitely come back
