First of all, our hosts John, his sister and their mother were the friendliest most hospitable people we met in Albania. They were so accommodating to our requests, they made our stay very comfortable and we had some nice chats. Also their mother’s food was sooo amazing. Her breakfast was delicious and definitely make sure to try her dinner. I will miss having her breakfast on the terace with the view of the mountains and fresh air. The rooms were very cozy and you had an amazing view of the valley. We woke up every morning for the sunset. Honestly I enjoyed spending time at the guest house more than in town 😂. I wish we coule have stayed more days but if I’m ever back in teth there is no place i would stay than here again. Thank you for making our stay wonderful and hope we get to meet again.

Clean and nice apartment with shared kitchen but with your own bathroom. It is on top floor with many stairs but the host comes and carry all your bags up and down. The benefit of top floor is the view and it is quite. It has a nice balcony from the ktichen to relax on in the evening. The location could not be better, just right to the walking street with restaurants and shops, and close to bus and taxi station. We where allowed to check-in a bit early, you just need to call in advance since the host has approx 30 min drive to get there. Ask for more detailed directions since it is a bit hard to find, but no problem since it is in the center. We left our luggage for 3 days and paid a small sum for that arrangement and it worked out fine and was very safe. We really felt safe and got a warm welcome and had simple and easy communication during our stay. I can highly recommend this place and host.

This was one of our favourite hotels in Albania! Very spacious which was convenient with 3 kids (living room, 2 bedrooms and a kitchen). The host was the nicest person ever. The host arranged transport to Theth for next day and we were collected from the hotel. I wish we could stay there longer!

Alex's House Shirokë har havudsigt og tilbyder indkvartering med have, terrasse og bar, ca. 47 km fra havnen i Bar. The campers were so adorable, and everything was very nice and comfortable. Our hosts were exceptional, with an amazing breakfast each morning and one night we had dinner as well, it was delicious. Everything was local, with homemade jam, bread, and other produce. The location is amazing, the road it is on has a nice path for biking or walking. A bit of a drive down the road is Shiroka town, and access to swimming on the lake. We had an amazing stay, and wish we were there longer. I would highly recommend and would stay again. It is a short drive into Shkoder, and very quiet.

I stayed for 4 days, it is very homy and comfortable. The place has everything you need for cooking and the bed is comfortable.

Booking this hotel was one of the best travel decisions my husband and I have ever made. Trust me, just book this hotel - you will not regret it! The owners, Rina and Kujtim, are the nicest people you will ever meet. I have never felt so welcome at any other hotel. This is Albanian hospitality at its best. We spent 3 incredible nights here, really enjoying the atmosphere, view, food, and company. We ate dinner every night at the hotel because it was so good. The breakfasts were wonderful and we enjoyed sitting and having drinks on the balcony. Thank you so much, Rina and Kujtim, for making our honeymoon so incredible!

The place is amazing! The family is sweet, the food is good and so is the location. It's a bit of a walk from Theth (2 km or so), but the view makes up for it! I highly recommend this place!
