Upon arrival Angelo at the front desk was such a delight to speak with. He made the check in process easy and painless. Later that night we sat at the bar where Selena served us the most delicious white russians! We were really taken with how personable everyone was, from the housekeepers to the upper management. Upon check out Christine helped us figure out why our bar food tab was higher than anticipated. You can really tell that people enjoy their jobs there and that it is a positive work environment.
Things we loved overall: This location is perfect for walking EVERYWHERE. We walked to the American side of the falls, the Casino, the Filipino restaurant around the corner, the arcade across the street, etc. It was super central to everything and that enabled us to have an even better time that we could have imagined.
Their breakfast was amazing! Probably the most varied breakfast I've seen at a hotel. If you eat KETO / CARNIVORE / have special dietary needs, etc this is a great place to grab breakfast in the morning as they had hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, crustless quiche, real bacon AND real bacon bits, cheese, and cream cheese. Also included were the normal fair of waffles, various yoghurts with a multitude of toppings, bagels, toast, fruit, cereal, oatmeal and like 8 different drinks, including oatmilk! I was blown away by the options. They even provided plastic utensils (presumably for people grabbing food and zooming out the door) and metal utensils for those of us dining in.
The room was spotless upon arrival, and the flow of the room made sense and felt cozy. There were various wall outlets all over the room that we utilized. I especially appreciated the ones right next to the bed near the lamps, which you could easily turn off while in bed. We would absolutely stay at another Hyatt in the future.
