The hotel has updated paint, floors and furniture. The fans for the AC and bathroom are very noisy.
The walls are thin. We could hear upstairs neighbors. We had issues with our first room- had to switch rooms due to a plumbing issue. Eveothing was worked out to our satisfaction. Good location.

We’ve experienced a bad encounter in one of our beds with bed bugs. Overall experience was great, every staff member super friendly & a great facility but not sure how 1 of 2 beds in our room haves bed bugs. I’ve already reached out front desk immediately to advise them of situation hoping this doesn’t happen to someone else.

We loved the location and the hotel room very clean, very modern looking. We travel with our infant and dog. We had $30 pet fee for the night totally worth it.

nice quaint little motel in Monterey, decent price and location, comfortable bed. stayed here with my husky, they are pet friendly with a $25 pet fee. complimentary dog biscuits at check-in. Andy at the front desk was very nice and helpful, would stay here again :)

We enjoyed so much about our stay. We had one of the best views we could have asked for, the room was very chic and the hotel itself is gorgeous. The location is one of the best in downtown Monterey. I will be honest, when deciding on which hotel to book knowing this one is a pet friendly hotel I was worried about the condition our room would be in (smell and cleanliness) but if a dog had ever been in our room before we would never know it! The stay overall was fantastic.
It is a beautiful hotel in a great location. My only real complaints were 1) the carpet was NASTY!!!! 2) the carpet smelled like urine. I understand that it is a dog friendly hotel, but changing the carpet would bring an entirely new freshness.
