We stayed here for 1 night and was pleasantly surprised at how warm and imviting the room and lobby was. The hotel could update the halls with better carpeting, which looks dated and old and not at all aligned with the room vibe. The bed was comfortable, and the balcony was a nice to have and a welcoming surprise. The pool area is also very nice. My only complaint would be the very expensive deposit. Just isnt necessary to charge 250 bucks as a security deposit.I would recommend to others.

This was our second stay at the Aston Kona by the Sea. We love the convenient location, our comfortable and attractive 2-bedroom ocean front unit, the gorgeous views, all the comforts and conveniences of home and the amazing staff. Located in the centre of Kona near plenty of shops and restaurants. Our children enjoyed the swimming pool. Bathroom was new and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and the sofa bed was large and comfortable too.
Great location in the middle of Kona, convenient with parking around the building available for free. We were in Kona in the week of the Ironman for two nights and we appreciated the possibility to join in on the festivities around the competition thanks to the great location. The room was big (king suite was the only room left when we booked, so possibly regular rooms will be smaller) and well equipped.
Simple hotel, in good location in Kona. We used this the night after our flight into Kona, and the night before our departure, and the rooms are clean, nice showers, and the price is quite competitive. Would go again.
The location was fine. People were very friendly.
Best part was the chicken that walked in the front door(that is never closed) to eat the cat/dog food.
