I liked everything about this place.
So I’ll just mention the highlights.
Which was the central court with fire pits, and a bar. It was a lovely atmosphere to talk to fellow travelers and relax after playing all day.

We got to check in way early.

Solid location and staff was friendly. Paid parking wasn't great, but at least it was covered. The hotel is going through a major remodel. Construction crews, wet paint, and water issues made the property less desirable.

I love this place. Yes, it’s a bit faded and frayed around the edges. But I have been coming to Jackson Hole for over 40 years; I remember when the Casper Lodge was a literal tent and when the only way to ski the Alta Chutes was via the Tram because the Sublette Quad hadn’t been built yet. So much about Jackson Hole has become glitzed-over and priced out of the stratosphere. The Alpenhof is decently priced given its outstanding location, with clean and comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Most important, it reminds me of the Pepi Stiegler days when the mountain was about as different from Aspen as it was possible to be. I know it’s only a matter of time before it gets a facelift, but it will be a sad day for me when that happens.

I loved the cozy cabins! The whole property is well organized and maintained. I also appreciated that the resort is dog friendly and my pup enjoyed the snowy days. Also, walkable location from cafes and restaurants. And one of the most important things - they provide a shuttle bus to Jackson Hole which is very convenient. Highly recommended!

We have a dog and they gave us a canine welcome gift upon check-in. It contained treats, a ball, information about pet necessities, all in a disposable bowl and their pet fee was only a one time fee of $25.
Our room had a balcony with a view of Snow King ski area and two sinks with one being outside the bathroom.
It is located only one block from the downtown square.
