Loved it! Fabulous staff, friendly, enthusiastic and helpful.
Gorgeous reception and bar area, even Scrabble and Chess boards laid out. We didn't walk around the gardens due to lack of time, but they looked stunning from the terrace.
Lots of little things to love about The Settlers Inn.
Breakfast was super too.

Great little house close to all the fun Lake Wallenpaupack has to offer. I dont think we had to travel farther than 4 miles in any one direction to get to fantastic restaurants, breweries, the lake. The hosts kept in contact with us throughout and had a ton of recommendations in a nice book waiting for us. The house was super cute, clean and had a wonderful fireplace to relax by. We didnt gwt to tale advantage of the outdoor fireplace but it looked really nice. Highly recommend this rental especially if you are looking to do the famous brewery loop. We were able to have a mobile masseuse come in from town and give us massages. It was a perfect kid free escape for parents!

Exactly what we were looking for!! A nice little cabin / house in the woods private but not isolated. Have fun with a few deer that came right up to the door and nibbled on some food right from my hand. Plan on going back to enjoy some of the things we didn't get to do.

Location was easy to find and had nice mountain views. The person who checked us in was very friendly and gave our dog a treat! The room was modern and clean. Easy check in/out procedure. Overall a great value
Suzy the host and her cute little dog, Lola. The location was great, as we were able to walk to dinner and for ice cream after dinner. After dinner we enjoyed talking with another guest while sitting on the front porch swing.
Location-great - historical building… so old was expected… bar area - cool… lisa - bartender -exceptional… dinner and appetizers-fabulous—-the hostess/waitress friendly- shared information about the town…and gave us a 5 star dining experience -ty Sydney!
No real breakfast… kurig coffee and mini hostess pies(past the expiration date)
Bring your own water…. It smells and tastes like sulfur…we stayed in the apartment… outdated .. but clean….
I would go back if I could get a room in the hotel…Quaint country town…
