We enjoyed our stay at Vista House. Just as promised, the unit is luxurious and spotlessly clean. Ryan clearly pays attention to detail as there was thoughtfulness in every nook and cranny. For example, if you are a coffee lover, which we are, Ryan has available coffee beans, ground coffee and Keurig coffee pods and brewer. He also has a coffee grinder and a Bonavita coffee maker. My regret is not buying half and half on our way in as we weren’t sure if coffee would be available. Ryan also provides an electric kettle and tea bags for tea lovers. The kitchen is well stocked with quality equipment and pots and pans, and there’s quality toiletries and linens to boot. Above all, everything is clearly labeled. Having stayed at like units before, I marveled at Ryan’s thoughtfulness and have to place his unit as the best of its kind I’ve ever stayed at. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll plan on staying longer. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the view as we checked in late at night and the sunrise was obscured by morning fog. Thank you Ryan, for a wonderful and comfortable stay.

The view from this location is absolutely amazing! Ryan was a terrific host. He was responsive when we communicated prior to our arrival and was very welcoming when we got to the house.
The Courtyard is located off US-101, 7 miles from Avila Beach. It features an outdoor pool, a fitness center and a whirlpool, and Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.

Easy to find at the side of the main road, and a great location thst was not far from local restaurants and the beach. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.with a quick check in. Our room was exceptionally clean, modern and surprisingly large with a nice big comfortable bed, plus everything you need for a stay, plus great soundproofing as we couldn't hear the traffic from the main road. Overall we had a lovely stay and highly recommend staying here...

This hotel was perfection. Beautifully decorated, the rooms were spacious, the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was two short blocks from the beach and boardwalk. The most unique aspect of the hotel was the hospitality. The staff serves freshly baked croissants and coffee in the morning, an afternoon snack, then wine and appetizers, then pie and ice cream after dinner. All the treats were wonderful. I will be back!
Every location had a view of the Bay and included a propane fire pit. I also appreciated the large fenced in deck for my dog right at the cottage and the fact that she was welcome everywhere. It provided a stress-free break for both of us.

the property was a great experience! amazing views of Avila and was just a really unique stay. We brought a butane gas stove top and cooked our dinner outside and watched the sunset with our dog. The location was also right next to a dog friendly beach, so our puppy had so much fun. the place is overall very dog friendly.
The location was great: just far enough from the ocean but close enough to be at the beach in 5 minutes walking. The breakfast and evening snacks/tasting were terrific. The staff was very welcoming at this pet-friendly hotel.
The whole atmosphere of this location was so wonderful! It was like being in a resort or resort town with Avila beach being so close. Having the dog beach so close by too was fantastic! My dog had the vacation she deserves! The cottage had a wonderful view and great outdoor space. Spacious and clean! Glamping at its finest! I can’t wait to go back!
The water and mountain views were amazing. My local college student child studied on the deck of the cottage while her dog and I enjoyed the fire pit (the first night we could hear the guitarist/singer from the outdoor common area). The cottage had everything we needed to hang out together for 4 days. It was just down the road from town, close enough for a quick drive for food but not too close, so that it was a quiet area. After checking in, communication was by text, Ginger and Tracy were great making sure I was happy.
