The camp is located in a beautiful, secluded bay surrounded by mountains and wildlife and about a 10 min boat ride from Avalon. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The kitchen had all the essential equipment (microwave, utensils, glasses, etc.) and complimentary coffee each morning. The bathrooms were clean and showers had plentiful hot water. The tents were immaculate and spacious and had comfortable, warm bedding. We had such a great time and will be back. The camp kitty (Squeaks) and bison (Mike) were a highlight.

I stayed for two nights for my birthday. Hands down the best features were the golf cart and the hot tub. Everything was great, the beds were super comfortable. TVs are in every room. If you were to rent a golf cart on your own they charge $60 per hour and you have to return it at the end of the hour or day, so being mobile on the island was a fantastic feature.
Originally opened in 1896 and located in Avalon town center, this diver-friendly hotel offers bicycles for hire and a tour desk. Avalon’s boat landing is 10 minutes’ walk away.

Great location and super great staff! I will say the room was a bit smaller than expected and the pictures made me think there was a rooftop area, which there wasn't. They provided free tickets to the museum which was an expected perk and super interesting and very much appreciated! There wasn't AC, just window unit which wasn't all the way on when we checked in so the room was quite hot when we entered, but overall good stay!

Great place! Would recommend it. My only real issue was no microwave in the room and plenty of room above the fridge. Carpet should be replaced with vinyl flooring. Coffee only available till 6:30am, should be later. Nice staff and a great location.
We loved that this hotel is dog-friendly! What a joy it was to bring our furry little guy with us. We also loved that this was a cute, quirky, historical site (established 1896- so cool!) And the room - one of the cottages near the top - had everything we needed. There was the practical little kitchenette, which we happily used for cooking breakfast in the mornings, and the lovely deck outside, complete with twinkle lights and views of the mountainside - delightful!
Location was great and rooms were good for the rate. Love the dog friendly status. Staff was helpful when needed and didn’t intrude when unnecessary. Had the room with windows out to the street that allowed a cool breeze in.
There is only pet friendly hotel in a rush booking in that price! No elevator but staff are friendly! Bed are okay for two people, if is a high weight mind need a larger size bed. Small kitchen is nice things need are quite full prepared ! Electric fire cook pad is only available not work, we could only use microwave to boiling water, frozen is nice and cool! Location is nice, couple walks to the sea or Vons! Overall 5five star!
Room was very clean. Nice view of the canyon, tropical feel. Balcony looked over the tropical canyon. Nice location. It's away from the hustle and bustle from town, yet close enough to walk there. In my case, I had a mobility scooter. Saw some deer frolicking around in the canyon. They also had doggie bowls for my dog.
Loved the location, friendly staff, hot water and amenities in room. Staff was able to acommodate a change of room to include extra bed as I didn't realize I had booked a single Queen for two people (not a couple). Great Caribou brand coffee in thermos served all day. nice staffed bar in hotel. Dog friendly.
