House well located 5 min from Tafraoute. We spent 2 nights because we wanted to visit the grand canyon and ait mansour.
The house was quiet, really big, and clean. Nothing fancy but it was fonctionnal and well maintained.
The owner was really helpful and kind. A really good value for money. Easy to find, easy to get there. There was also a big terrace with a nice view .
Good spot to visit the surroundings. 2 nights were enough to see the area

Chez Amaliya was established 20 years ago by a retired Dutch woman, who continue to run a very efficient hotel with a staff of 11. We spent three comfortable days there, walking Tafraout and visiting area sights. Excellent meals. Highly recommended.

We took a punt on this new accommodation and couldn't be more pleased. A beautifully designed and furnished abode with a magnificent setting tucked between the hills. The owner was most hospitable and made our stay feel very special. In the evening the pool area is a romantic open air oasis. Breakfast around the pool in the morning was equally delightful, with the owner providing an elegant styled Moroccan breakfast.

The staff are amazing. We spent three comfortable nights at the hotel and we had everything. Clean and quiet room, games, nice restaurant and a swimming pool. Other than that, the location was really great. I highly recommend it if you want to relax and enjoy your time.
A little out of town which we enjoyed. Very peaceful and quiet with amazing views! It seems as though there is still some construction happening but we still really enjoyed being here! Perfect location to go scrambling and exploring on the rocks. Staff were also very friendly and helpful

This is a very hard review to write. This hotel has so much potential, most of the staff tried very hard and were really friendly, the location is superb, only a 10 min walk into the centre of Tafraoute. The pool and gardens were very well maintained and the terraces pleasant. There is a well decorated lounge area and a bar where you can buy beer...that in itself is an unusual luxury in most of Morocco.
Great location. Friendly staff who very kindly made us dinner late one night. Good breakfast in the restaurant or on the terrace. Picnic lunch can be requested which is great for climbing
The location is splendid with a view of the Amelne valley from the terrace and the surrounding pisé houses.
Neighbour is the real Maison Traditionelle, from which the hotel has taken the name (same owners). The Maison Traditionelle is a an ethnographic museum showing traditional kitchen utensils, earthenware, carpets, fabrics, clothes.
The hotel is 6 km from Tafraoute which is known for production of babouches and the starting point for reaching the beautiful Aït Mansour valley where palm trees are forming a canopy above your head.
