The entire property at Kalidasa is beautifully maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was great about it. Few points that exceptionally stand out are -
- Home made food offered - breakfast and dinner are as fresh and delicious as it gets. We absolutely loved the poori, kurma, appam, drum stick, jackfruit based other traditional dishes made to the perfection.
- Cleanliness is top notch. The room and bathroom were spotless. The rest of the property is also very clean, felt like a 4 star property.
- Ambience of the place - tranquil, beautiful, sufficiently connected with nature, with all the required comfort. The hammock is peace and coziness. Sitting in balcony gazing out at the nature while sipping your tailor made tea was bliss. We could take several walks around the area, it was fun and adventurous.
- Hosting family - extremely warm and service oriented. I am very thankful to them for welcoming us and taking such good care of us. Our every request was met enthusiastically and no fuss. For ex. When asked for hot water to drink in the morning, Mr Sudheesh happily provided spices infused hot water which was quite therapeutic.
- Pet support - Very friendly and supportive towards our adorable pet. Thank you so much!

The location was very calm and peaceful. Swimming pool was fantastic. It was very clean and neat. We enjoyed a lot in the pool.
Rooms were neat and clean. The Cedar suite had a fireplace which was a warm and comfortable experience. Dinner and breakfast was decent. The staffs and the owner Mr. Verma was super nice and the morning walk with him was refreshing. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

It was good but not great. The location is its biggest draw, the views are just amazing. It is a very serene environment with friendly staff. The property is clean and calm. The rooms are big and spacious as well.

Nestled in the serene wilderness, this property boasts a picturesque river stream flowing beside it. The culinary offerings are outstanding, with a delightful array of authentic Kerala dishes to savor. The staff, led by the ever-welcoming Ratish, goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable vacation. What's more, it's a pet-friendly paradise – we enjoyed every moment with our golden retriever.
Property owners are very friendly and supportive till we leave. Good place for family and friends. Good privacy. BBQ and camp fire facilities are added advantage. Rooms are very clean also they are pet friendly the reason we have chosen. A small cute cat in the house welcomed us and shared its joy along with us. Overall the two days went very well.
Pet friendly, all staff were really good and helpful. There is a river flowing behind the resort, which is one of the highlights. Overall, it was a very peaceful and pleasant stay.

The location is nice, just a 1h autorickshaw ride from tholpetty national park.
Excellent accommodation and the staffs and cook are really awesome and it's worth for the money and it's located in great atmosphere thereby we sited a lot of bulbul and sparrow, and tholpetty wildlife sanctuary ver nearby, if u have a car it's a great time to spend ur vacation there.
