Book this camp! Had a great night. Away from yhe rest of the camps so is cleaner and quieter than the othwrs. A short walk to the dunes. Enterntainment was great abd heaps of great food. Ali was a fantstic host. Went above and beyond to take care of us.

The history in this Haveli is incredible. You can see it wherever you go, in the carvings, in the steps polished by centuries of use. It is also great to see grandfather, father and now son in the building.
The son, Shubham, took us on a personal guided tour of the fort, which was very interesting and informative. His passion for the family hotel and the fort as a whole is very real and it shows. Shubham's father is the ultimate host. He just could not do enough to make our stay a memorable one.
In short, it is a lovely hotel and well worth visiting.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely Hotel Shanti Home. Our room was huge with lovely interiors and furniture especially the bed was well decorated and super comfortable. The views from roof top where we had our breakfast has spectacular view of Jaisalmer Fort. And the host Chimmy was exceptionally hospitable. The location was right in the center with atmospheric neighborhood and walking distance from main monuments of town. They also send us a rickshaw to pick us up from train station upon our arrival which was very helpful as our train was almost at midnight. A highly recommended place and we received best hospitality in India. Bravo!!

Lovely hotel with very accommodating staff. The room was very clean and pleasant, as was the rest of the hotel. The room charge was very reasonable and the location was perfect for sightseeing. The roof top restaurant had an amazing ambience,food was outstanding, by its variety and quality. Very friendly and competent staff, extremely helpful yet never intrusive . Thank you Jalam for giving us this amazing experience. Will definitely come back and recommend this place to all my friends who visit Jaisalmer.
The location is bang on,the place is clean,staffs were very helpful,especially gafur, he stayed awake for me when i came late in the night & again went out for dinner.He also tried to help me find a safari package suiyable as pet my plan.
They also allowed to me keep my luggage when i went out after check out.

Loved the large room, comfy bed, good quality sheets and my window seat. It's a fairly quiet location but everything you need is close by.
Dheeraj did everything he could to make my stay as good as possible; collecting me from the bus stop, coffee and chats in reception, even lending me his dog, Bruno 😁
Oh, and did I mention the great view of the fort from the roof? Also having a kettle in the room is great.
Kitchen guys were not always getting the orders right but it was noted and action taken to make improvements.
Chose this hotel because of its proximity to the fort. Easily walk-able down a local street with roaming cattle, goats, dogs etc. The real deal! Not many mid-scale or upscale hotels in the area apart from the Marriott which is too much 1st world. View of the fort is very nice. There is a popular hostel across the dirt street for food and beer.
Food were typical dishes, which is a plus. It seems a big place for large groups, and there were a lot of families and friends having fun.
The staff at the campsite was nice, and the agency provides with a driver with a reasonable price for a foreigner (1600 rupees go and return).
I think they are pet friendly, because there was a couple with a cat and it was ok.
Great boutique hotel with service no less than a 5-star. Fantastic hospitality, very thoughtful and attentive staff, large unit with a bedroom, living room and terrace, very good rooftop Italian restaurant with great view of fort, very good location right next to the fort, comes with a fairly good gym and jacuzzi. Got a complimentary dinner on the last night of stay. Friendly pet dog on site. Highly recommended.
