The vibe of this place was warm and welcoming, our room was very comfortable and spacious with AC and a fan, also really appreciated the mosquito protection on the windows and doors! The whole experience was great from start to finish, felt really well looked after and the food was great. A range of great local-style breakfasts every day were provided, with flexibility on what time I ate. I really appreciated the genuine welcome and homestay feel of the place, and as I stayed for 3 weeks I really got to know the family well. The location is ideal as you can walk to Alleppey Beach in under a minute, but also along the to quiet beach road or shoreline to restaurants that are 5 to 10 minutes walk away, or venture inland for longer walks 20-30 mins to small shops/churches/the lighthouse/other beaches. It's real fishing village life here, which I enjoyed observing and I respected. Local people's smiles are genuine, and (like in many international unspoilt villages) strangers say hello as they walk by you. I always received the correct change when paying and felt very safe, local food options also good. It is generally not a location for parties or alcohol, so if that's your thing there's other destinations to consider first. Beach was clean in that I never saw plastic rubbish drifted up onto the shore.

One of the best stays I have ever had, very clean property in a secluded place, peaceful environment. Helping and friendly staff, the welcome drink tea and snacks were all home made and hygienic. Sunny George and Jibin sahu were very friendly and made us feel at home. We were constantly checked upon for any help and guidance, We weren't even charged extra for extending the checkout, the swimming pool was maintained well, and the beach is just a few steps away from thumpoly beach.

Large new room with an excellent bathroom in a quiet location. It was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. The two available rooms are upstairs, separate to the families' living area. There is a large outdoor covered patio that overlooks the garden where the delicious breakfast is served (fresh juice, toast, omelette, and coconut pancakes). It is a 4 minute walk to the local beach (great for sunset viewing).

The location is perfect - it is located right by the beach as the name suggests. It is also very close to some nice restaurants and cafes like Cafe Catamaran, oceanshack. The hosts, Clare and Kichu and their adorable dog, teddy are the warmest people. They were extremely nice and helpful during my stay. I really enjoyed my stay!
Hosts are very friendly and will help you with any questions you have. Will also help you if you need to book cab or ask about tips for boating and other things. They will serve you nice breakfast and make you feel homely. Wifi and AC works like a charm. Also, they have very friendly dogs and cat.
It is in a good location where you can hear the sound of the waves from the room, and there is a friendly and skillful accommodation manager. And you can become a friend of adorable dog and cat friends. This is an accommodation where you can relax comfortably.

Cozy homestay facing the Alleppey beach. The owner was very warm and helpful for arranging activities and transportation, and her cat Shiva and dog Buddha were a lovely company. The single room with shared bathroom and facilities was clean and worth the price. Definitely recommended for backpackers looking for a relaxed hippie vibe in Aleppey!
I really like the hospitality and the nature of the people here. The rooms were clean, washrooms were clean. The breakfast was really tasty and it was the authentic Kerala breakfast that I had. I was there with my pet and to my surprise they were also having pet dog and it really made me happy how they treated my dog.
The owners were great! Very helpful and friendly. The place is charming with many beautiful plants. You can sit in the backyard and enjoy your evenings, mornings and afternoons there. You can find many books in the venue so you can read them.
If you're into dogs and you are a pet lover, you MUST meet Teddy!
If you don't like dogs the owners will keep them in the house closed.
