If you’re heading to Santorini, I can’t recommend Honeymoon Beach Resort enough—it’s an absolute gem! I booked it a bit on a whim after reading some reviews, and wow, am I glad I did. It’s a cozy, family-run boutique hotel with all the charm and warmth you could hope for, and it ended up making my entire trip unforgettable.
Right from the start, the hospitality blew me away. Our flight was delayed, so we arrived pretty late at night, and I worried we’d have to scramble for transport. But when we finally landed, Julia’s son, Michael, was waiting for us with the friendliest smile, holding a sign with our names. It might sound small, but after a long day of travel, that welcome made all the difference.
We got to the hotel, and even though it was way past typical hours, Julia herself came out to greet us. Seeing we were hungry, she offered to make us a late-night snack, and within minutes, we were enjoying a delicious homemade bowl of pasta by the pool. It’s not every day you find a hotel where the owner treats you like family right from the start!
The room was spotless and beautifully styled with that signature Greek look—whitewashed walls, blue accents, and cozy furnishings. It was so welcoming that I immediately felt relaxed. You could tell the family takes great pride in maintaining everything to perfection.

We received a warm welcome by Kleo who helpfully gave us some tips on how to get around the island and served snacks and juice. We arrived earlier than the check in time, but she arranged for our rooms to be ready in a short time. We had an excellent stay at Petri Suites. The room was clean, quiet, designed with some great features and a had a good view of the pool and the sea. Breakfast was very good and the pool bar was available all day. The pool itself and the sunbeds were first class with beds being available throughout the day. Location of Petri Suites is absolutely ideal for local restaurants as well as buses to various other places on Santorini.
The big comfortable bedroom with hottub on the balcony and the pretty large fresh water pool that was just the right temperature for a refreshing swim… The location was perfect with only 2 mins walk to beach and bus stop.. so many beautiful flowers and trees that Magda a very natural and romantic feel
Very well looked after hotel, next to the beach but also with a pool option that wasn't crowded. Great location, lots of restaurants and cafes around. Room was clean and spacious with its own kitchen and utensils as well as a small balcony. Lots of breakfast options for every appettite and it was very filling (not buffet). All staff were polite and helpful. The owner, Mrs Eleftheria is kind, approachable and eager to help her guests.
Everything! Mostly the staff, all of whom were so so friendly and incredibly helpful and accommodating. The room was spotless and lovely and spacious, a lovely little terrace to sit on too. The pool was gorgeous, incredibly clean and plenty of sunbeds. The location is fabulous, less than a 1 minute walk to the beach. 100% recommend.

Very nice, clean and spacious room. Petroula, the receptionist helped us with all our needs, from renting a car to attraction recommendations. The housekeeping was impeckable and always cheerful when we met her. The hotel is close to one of the biggest beaches and many restaurants, perfect for a relaxing vacation.
The pool was amazing and so relaxing and the staff was super friendly. The location was the best thing about the stay, with the beach just 5 min away. They also had wondering around the most friendly and sweet cat that I made sure to pet everything I could. The breakfast was lovely and they provided beach towels!
