We were greeted with a huge smile by Mikos and were made feel very welcome. He also made very good recommendations for restaurants.
Villa Sylvia has parking so that was a real bonus on a busy public holiday. A very short walk to the beach and restaurants. Matala was lovely.

The apartment was very large, lovely high ceilings and great value for money. It was really only accessible by car or taxi as it's quite a distance from Kali Limenes.
It's on the side of a hill with incredible views, also some passing and anchored ships.
A short walk down the steep hill is a beautiful quiet beach with shade from umbrellas. Swimming was perfect.
If you can't manage the walk, it is steep, the swimming pool is a bonus!
The taverna had very good food and was fantastic value. The people who had the hotel and taverna were so very hospitable.
A great experience if you like to be away from everything. Fantastic!

You must go to red beach while being here :) We go there for every sunrise and it was magical!
Big variety of breakfast food. Cleaning lady came every morning to take out trash and mop floors. She changed towels every couple of days. Big guard dog is very friendly. Very quiet location with plenty of parking. 8 minute walk to Matala stores/restaurants. Pool was clean and good size with outdoor bathroom and shower.

The big dog that wanders at the hotel reception can be bit scary but he was calm and obeyed the owner. There was a fridge in the room.
Beautiful property in a very quiet location, with very easy access by car to all popular destinations of the region.
We stayed at the studio apartment which was on the first floor. The ground floor apartment did not have guests while we were there, so we were lucky to have full privacy during our holidays.
The host Mrs. Voula was very friendly and hospitable. She offered us several treats during our stay and provided a lot of information about the region.
We were travelling with our small dog and she was also very happy with the location.
Lovely location above town. Own personal sunsets and stargazing. Close to town beach and hubbub. The bookshop kittens were a treat! Village cats and Nikos the barky dog. Nice beach.
