it's a hop,skip and a jump from the squares of the Chora.. where the restaurants/ bars and shops are... but very quiet.The studio room (I had upstairs room, but I imagine they're both similar) very tastefull décor...and very well equipped.. filter coffee maker, honey/ jam, cereal, water and plenty of utensils ( even kitchen roll)... the hot water is an immersion heater,so no worries about cold showers👍... upstairs room has a little outside space,for an evening apero.. but as I was there in October..the mornings you had a little dew first thing, so not good for morning coffee,.. but inside table was cool. Also a few minutes to walk to the bus station.

Design of the hotel is modern while, at the same time, it is perfectly integrated in the landscape.

Hotel has a pool with salty water and its dimension is really big .

Onar is located right next to Folegandros port but managing to keep you away from crowds, it sits on top of a cliff with incredible panorama.
You'll be greeted by the owner Petros and his lovely staff, he'll go the extra mile to make sure your experience will be the best possible one.
Rooms are very clean and well decorated, definitely will book again if back in Folegandros.
The host Petros is very kind ! The location is amazing as the external terraces of the villa Volta with lots of private space, great decor and a direct amazing view of the sea.
Unfortunately breakfast was not served despite the information brochure in the villa’s room said otherwise. This was a big blow to the stay as there are only two breakfast places which however are not close by / not around the corner ( both quite pricy and one of them with quite bad food quality and service ..)
We were able to upgrade our apartment to maistos (slightly bigger). The location is stunning with views down to port. The property

Our experience at Onar was truly special and it was
made so by Petros and his lovely staff. The location
of Onar means it has the most spectacular views of
it’s surrounds and out onto the Aegean. Our room
was beautifully designed by Petros himself and kept
spotless throughout our stay. Breakfast was served
in the room and consisted of a tray with tasty local
delights that changed each morning. Whatever we
needed, it was always taken care of. We felt so welcome
