Good floor setup and for its size is very good ... with reception ....bar and restaurant all on the ground floor and an open plan format ...also waiting / discreet work space areas. Friendly and efficient staff - always available. I didnt have time to review fitness centre / pool but looked good. Also plenty of available parking spaces (free) and well sited at Blackbrook Taunton.

My wife and her mother stayed one night and said It was like staying in a beautiful home. The staff were polite and attentive, especially the lady at reception who greeted them when they arrived and personally showed them to their room. Such a lovely touch. Also Matt, who looked after them at Breakfast so well on his first day. Breakfast was lovely, the room (Sandalwood) was comfy, clean and welcoming. Parking on site was free and convenient. They would highly recommend. The perfect place for a family occasion, for a quiet stay to chill and unwind or for visitors to the area a place to stay and explore from. In one word 'Fabulous!'

The property is located in the heart of the city with a quick walk away from City Center and all the local bars, dining, and tea and coffee shops. The property is professionally cleaned everyday with basic supplies for tea / coffee etc arranged every day. The bathrooms are clean and upgraded. There is a Tesco store just Hal a block away which is a great plus as they also have a coffee and breakfast place inside and that was great for morning.

The location was excellent and very central to where I was visiting. Being a dog friendly hotel it was the first time I have taken my dogs with me and it was great the staff couldn't do enough provided dog bed and bowls. The room was comfy and clean and a good size

Our room was immaculate, well equipped kitchen area, great shower in the wet room and the super king bed was the comfiest bed we have ever slept on.Lovely location,far enough from the town for piece and quiet but easy to get to places from.You will need a car though. quiet village location. Very nicely decorated inside but retains the features for the age of the property. A very lively bar atmosphere complete with wood burners and dog friendly. Great selection of drinks and food. Outside area for smoking and plenty of parking. Restaurant was nice and cosy feel and the food was great and have to say very good prices on the dinner menu as the quality that was delivered with every dish we sampled was evident. My pet love a cheeseboard that was excellent with the very nice red from the menu......
