The location was lovely and the property was nice and clean - and I'm quite fussy! Everything worked as it should and the owners were quick to answer any questions we had via the messaging service. The goats and sheep were great, my son loved feeding them and the hot tub was just what we needed.

The apartment is wonderful. Very clean and tidy. The host has put a lot of thought into it. With games and books for your use. But the most amazing thing is that they leave you a hamper with food and milk, different types of coffee and tea. It is a lovely place to stay.

Bar far the nicest place we've stayed in the UK so far. We were greeted on arrival and shown around which is a first for us and a lovely touch. The cottage itself felt like a home away from home. Warm, comfortable and very inviting.
Great location, you can walk into the village and access some lovely countryside right on your doorstep.
Very family friendly, little touches like toys for smaller kids and some board games too for older ones. A toilet with the built in toddler seat was great for our 2 year old and plastic bowls and plates in the kitchen were so useful.
Very well equipped kitchen, lovely wood burner in the living room and very comfortable beds.
Perfect for the dog too. We were genuinely sad our visit wasn't longer.

We loved our stay at Winter Haven Cottage, the cottage was perfect and had everything we needed. Louise was an excellent host and very quick to respond to any questions. The location of the cottage is incredible, it is just a 2 min walk from beautiful heathland, so perfect for a morning walk with the dog. We recommend the Hare and Hounds pub which is just round the corner and The Forest Deli Sway which does a amazing breakfast! We will be back :)
Location was perfect for our weekend of walking in the New Forest. Our room was dog-friendly which was great for Alfie our Spaniel and we were able to walk him in the grounds. The bed was comfy, but I found the pillows a little firm. However the staff were most helpful in finding me a softer pillow. There was also a nice range of products for our use in the bathroom.
Comfy accommodation that was immaculately clean and well equipped for our self catering stay. Welcomed our dog with clear pet expectations prior to visit. Parking right outside in a really quiet location with walks from the doorstep. Host very responsive to any questions.
It was very welcoming, super dog friendly too. The location was perfect for us and within in good distance of all the must see attractions near by. Some lovely decor too.
