The property was near the centre of St. Helier. It was convenient to walk there. The staff and owner were very pleasant at reception, in the bar and in the breakfast room.
The breakfast was plentiful, the food was of good quality and it was served very efficiently.
The hotel was scrupulously clean throughout.
I stayed
The Prince of Wales overlooks the beach of Greve de Lecq, one of Jersey's most beautiful bays, with its sandy beach and wonderful views over Sark and the nearby French coast.

On arrival, there were aspects of this hotel which made me wonder if I'd picked a good place to stay, being somewhat dated (avocado bathroom suite) and seemingly out-of-step with the times, but I can assure you that there are lots of positives to staying here and I'm really glad that I chose it. It's in a good location, well-served by Jersey's excellent bus system, (plenty of parking if you're in your own car), the meals are delicious and, if you get a room with a sea view, you will not be disappointed. Above and beyond everything else, the quality of the staff, from housekeeping to dining to reception* is exceptional: they will do everything in their power to ensure that your stay is a really enjoyable one.
*If you have issues with mobility, particularly if you use a wheelchair, it is worth a discussion directly with the hotel. The level of honesty about what they can do for you, and what they can't, is wonderfully reassuring.
Beachcombers Hotel is a boutique hotel next to the Royal Jersey Golf Course and Bay of Grouville, and a few minutes' walk from the beach. There is a bus stop directly outside the property.

Love the location and the view! Very clean and staff so welcoming although can be a little more attentive in the bar area or at least keep checking guests aren’t trying to get their attention.
Great atmosphere, friendly competent well trained staff. Excellent food, good out of town location with stunning views. Great suite. Clean and bright. Lovely heated outsoor pool (as well as indoor).
We had a fantastic holiday, the location and hotel were superb, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and especially to our dog too (he loved it)
Location is stunning - but remember right on the edge of the sea is also noisy. A very popular beach also means dog and children. Staff are amazing and friendly. Food is good quality and good portion size.
