A good-sized living room and bedroom, with a small Christmas tree to give a festive feel. Everything clean and tidy, with all the basics required. Fairly close to shops, although it's a busy road to walk down

A beautiful property with a lot of history and character. The staff are very helpful. The smell of the roaring fire and the historic architecture are very atmospheric. Breakfast is generous and well cooked. The bathroom was modern and the shower was great.

Room was excellent and really cosy, staff and dogs in the pub were very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were both very appreciative of the extra lengths staff went to accommodate my partner who is lactose intolerant and vegan. Bathroom and bed were great, throughly pleasant stay

Great accommodation and some nice touches, like milk in the frig and self catering if needed.

Our family stay at The Vobster Inn was exceptional.

Peta our hostess was wonderful and very friendly.
The location was beautiful. The breakfast excellent with a fabulous choice. We just wished we had more time to stay longer!

The host, Petra, was very friendly. The breakfast was very good (typical English breakfast with sausages, ham and eggs). I liked the location which was very quite and the fact that there is ample space to park your car. The room we got was huge, had four beds and an additional sofa.
They were incredibly wecloming and hospitable and we wouldn't hesitate in coming back. Lovely half way point stop off on the way to Cornwall as we had our doggy with us and he was so welcomed, very pet friendly.
