This was the best B&B we stayed in during our trip through the UK. Every little detail is covered!Spacious, beautifully decorated rooms with smartTV, wireless charger & USB charger, beautiful views, amazing bed. I could go on for a while ;) Freshly cooked breakfast which was absolutely delicious. Great facilities such as a Cinema room with an honesty bar, including some cheese and nibbles making a nice light meal. EV charger worked seamlessly & at a fair price. Would definitely come back!

The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was really spacious, and the bed extremely comfortable! The little extras like the complimentary cake really made the experience! Breakfast was outstanding too. Tyrone and Neil have worked so hard to create the perfect getaway place and we'd love to stay with them again.

Lovely well equipped house. Beautiful view, great garden and outside space. Extremely dog friendly. Well placed for walks through the village and surrounding countryside including the Coleridge way. Pub less than a minute away with great menu. Good communication and advice on the area from the owner. Faultless.
Attention to detail; little extras e.g. dog bed and treats and "breakfast sausage"; chess or pastries in the resident's pantry; exceptional help and advice from professional staff; fabulous food; calm and peaceful location.
We all absolutely loved our stay at Myrtle Cottage. After a day walking the coast path it was great to come back to such comfortable bedrooms and Tyrone and Neil were the perfect hosts and made us all feel so welcome. First class breakfast on Sunday morning , great location, very dog friendly and wonderful hosts.... thank you- we shall be back again. Myrtle Cottage really is a gem. Highly Recommended.

A beautiful house in a wonderful location. Was so peaceful, calming and relaxed, it felt like staying in a very hospitable relatives country pile rather than a hotel. Our dog friendly room (Embercombe) was immaculate and spacious, with lovely views to the sea. Unfortunately, booking.com assigned us a non dog-friendly room initially so best to book directly with the hotel if you need a dog friendly room - I was lucky they were able to switch our booking when the problem came to light.
Brilliant location - short walk to the main street, but away from traffic, nice and quiet. Lovely decor, everything you need for a short stay. Comfy bed - we slept very well! Pet friendly - enclosed garden, our dog couldn't sneak out! Easy check in and check out procedure. Secure Parking space - just outside the apartment. Good WiFi. Lovely kitchen - well equipped with complimentary tea and coffee (always a nice touch) Very clean apartment!
