Good location helpful staff and excellent food. Room was lovely. As I'm slightly disabled they put us in rooms where I could get to room from car park to save me having to use any stairs.

It’s a beautiful building and the staff were great
Very welcoming, great parking, great enclosed garden, dog was treated like a human guest -, incredible dog menu, toys, treats, & as a vegetarian I had great dinner & amazing full veggie brekkie, great hotel & great location
Great location, in the heart of the village.
Well kept garden and greens with allocated car parking.
Accommodation was nice clean and spacious.
And most importantly pet friendly.
Staff were friendly especially at breakfast. The location of the hotel was central - lots of places nearby to eat and drink and a quaint high street with lots of lovely shops. We chose not to bring our dog on this occasion but lovely to see it was a dog friendly hotel with water for the dog and treats (sausages) on offer. The facilities were basic but very clean and free parking was convenient. The booking service at breakfast meant it was organised and well serviced.
Location. Ponies outside grazing. Staff very helpful and polite. Bar area very nice. Very quiet. Super dog friendly with treats in room, towels near entrance if your dog wet and no pet fees. Dog could go in restaurant next door to hotel for dinner and breakfast.
After reading some of the more recent reviews of this hotel I was a bit nervous about booking. However, I personally didn’t find any of the issues that have been commented on. The staff were friendly, the location was great and the room was comfortable. I brought my dog and on arrival there was a water bowl, towel and bag of dog treats which I thought was a really nice touch.
Fantastic location, right in the centre of Lyndhurst. The room (and pub in general) looked as though its recently undergone refurbishment, with new carpets and the rooms bathroom looking brand new.
Nice quiet room (a little traffic noise, but it didn't keep us up), comfy beds, really good breakfast and all for a great price.
Walking distance to lots of nice pubs and its dog friendly too, so we brought our two small dogs who were more than welcomed.
Good size room and ensuite. Very clean, bright and comfortable. Felt very dog friendly and liked dog treats etc. in room. Plenty of parking and peaceful location.
In a great location to explore the whole of the new forest and also had shops, takeaways and restaurants nearby.
Very dog friendly with excellent walks nearby.
Staying in the shepherds hut was very quirky and was very helpful to have a sink and fridge when studying with a dog.
Bed was very comfortable and had one of the best duvets i have ever experienced.
The complimentary fudge, gin and dog treats were a very nice addition.
Breakfast was delicious with very friendly service.
