We liked that it had a refrigerator in the room which contained milk cartons, so we could make tea or coffee which were provided. Loved that we could take our little dog. The grounds were fab for walking the dog and we were allowed to explore.
We were absolutely blown away when we arrived - such a beautiful place to stay! The dogs were happy to see such space to explore in the grounds too!
Communication leading up to the trip was fantastic and Ceri really went all the way to ensure the service given to us was top standard!

Best equipped holiday let we have ever stayed in, good communication from owners owners have literally thought of everything.Cottage is comfortable and stylish with great appliances and instructions supplied, fantastic shower and large bath. Great location just off the high street. Aldi next door, one minute to pubs, bus station,shops. Lovely walks down behind the library (stunning view from St Peters church and Dawstone park,) round the windy lanes down to the Dee estuary.
Very helpful & courteous staff. Dog friendly so the grounds were excellent for walking. Peaceful and a handy location for Heswall,Liverpool and North Wales. Stayed in the one room Gatehouse Annex which was comfortable. A little piece of history and it is what it says it is.
This was an opportunity to stay at was is usually a wedding venue and we were glad took even just for 1 night it as it is a glorious spot - Ian as greeter was great - the apartment was lovely and dog friendly as a bonus with beautiful grounds to walk round.
