The location was great. The view from our room across the valley to Shibden Hall was beautiful. There was a great pub just at the end of the road for evening meals. The owners and staff were lovely people and very helpful. We would go back there again and would recommend it to friends.

The property is a lovely cottage on a very steep hill on the Pennine way . The cottage was clean and cosy probably perfect if you are driving to have a quiet time and explore surroundings area.
Even though the accommodation was great for us after walking 26km and not having a car and no food shop/restaurant around we had a night in without food.

We have stayed here a few times over the years and we love the location and it is dog friendly which is perfect for us. The price is amazing and the views are stunning.

Great location with a short 5 minute walk into town with lots of good pub's, cafes, restaurants and shops.
Excellent good value for money.
For those who like TV (not me) you will find it hard to find a better choice of channels, so if the weather is bad, you have plenty to entertain yourself.

Fantastic location. Comfortable cosy house with excellent facilities. Extremely clean, lovely decor and very comfy beds. Dog friendly. Wi-Fi included. Parking for one vehicle directly outside the property and lots more parking available on road just around the corner. Lovely pub in the village just a few minutes walk, with friendly staff and locals. Easy collection of keys on arrival from key safe next to the front door. Very good communication via email with owner. A true home from home. Highly recommended.
Really nice cottage. Very clean and comfortable, great location. Host available if you have any questions. And pet friendly as well! It even felt cosy in the middle of January :)
The location, the welcome, the staff, the room, the bed was amazing. Our room was huge and had everything we could possibly need. The wifi was 100% throughout our two night stay. The hotel is extremely dog friendly which was wonderful.
They served fabulous food, we had a wonderful stay and we will certainly be back.
