Beautiful country manor, an old hunting lodge. Setting is exceptional. Staff could not be more friendly or helpful. Food was excellent. Room fit for a queeen and king. Great walking all around.

Staff were friendly and accomodating. Dinner and breakfast were very nice. Sitting room was comfortable and we were able to mingle with other guests. Bar served nice selection of ales and whisky.
Room was very comfortable. Shower was a bit tricky due to water coming from a spring and timing was needed to not empty the supply, but a little juggling on normal times conquered this issue.

Everything was good, no faults.
We have a dog and the room was perfectly fine for what you often get for having pets. Bathroom a bit outdated but again perfectly fine. Everything was clean. The room was much cheaper than anywhere else around for miles. We had no issues and a nice enjoyable stay. Location is great.
We had dinner both nights and the food was great.
The staff were incredibly friendly too, especially at dinner.
One night there was a musician which was enjoyable.

The location of the hotel and the views over to Skye were amazing. The room was so comfy and had all we needed. Very dog friendly. They set up a table for us in the snug for dinner and breakfast so we could have the pup with us which was much appreciated. Staff were lovely and the hotel was so clean and very well run.

Loved the idea of the honesty bar such a shame we didn’t use it. Breakfast with a view had a lovely stay and can recommend it wholeheartedly.
Amazing location. We had two dogs with us and the dog friendly accommodation was ground floor, easily accessible and they provided a dog bed and bowl. Perfect for a family getaway.
