The Woodside gets everything right. From the very friendly service to the clean, stylish and spacious accommodation. It’s exceptionally well fitted out, to a good standard. The rooms were all comfortable and bright, and we were made to feel welcome. Parking is easy and we also enjoyed a good dinner at the adjacent hotel. We would definitely return.

Overall the lodge is lovely, it is a lot bigger than expected with 3 bedrooms in total. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need in self catered accommodation. Location wise, it’s brilliant for exploring that side of the Trossachs - a short drive up to Callander.
The property is dog friendly which was great for us - but note the extra fee for the dogs that is paid on arrival. This was £50 for 2 dogs. There is an enclosed garden but you have to go out the front (on the main road) to get to the garden entrance.
The apartment was beautiful & absolutely immaculate. It had everything we needed & more. The location was idyllic. Looking out over the river from the living area felt so peaceful & rural. Yet when you leave the apartment you reach the Main Street in just a few minutes walk. This was just perfect & we didn’t want to leave. And had the added bonus of being dog friendly

The host was very kind and helpful. The location is perfect especially if you have a dog. Lots of beautiful walks. Many dog friendly pubs and shops.
Loved having the garden and the terrace. We had quite bad weather but it didn't stop us from having a great time. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace that has got a roof and drinking a cup of tea and listening to the rain.
I can highly recommend it. Very quiet location. Perfect if you just want to relax . Walking distance to the pubs and shops.

We didn't eat breakfast but the pictures didn't look appetising. Location was good, right on the main street of callander. It was great that it was dog friendly.
