Absolutely lovely hotel. Room was perfect as were the staff, and breakfast was excellent. The gardens were well maintained, we and the dogs fully catered for.
Plenty of character within this fabulous old hotel . Love the winding stairs and thick carpet . It's a bit of a time warp and just the kind of place I enjoy . Despite the main road and central location it was quiet and I had a very restful night !
The pub and rooms are very nice and obviously recently refurbished. I liked where it was positioned and that they allowed dogs. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was good.
Food was very good & included a complimentary bottle of wine both evenings. Staff & waiters very professional & friendly. Room spacious with a lovely view & dog friendly. Well kept gardens & grounds. Location excellent for exploring the surrounding areas.
